OFF-ROAD 4-MILE RUN FOR XTREME FUN

Event Details:
November 15, 2008 - 9 AM

Check-in and late registration will take place at Tryathletics on Friday, November 14, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and at the Midway Expo Sandbar area on Saturday, November 15, between 7:30 and 8:30 AM.

A taste of whats ahead:
xtreme cross-country race, xtreme obstacle course, zombies, chain-saw madmen, post-race party at finish, XCX shirt & other free stuff, fantastic awards, most fun ever on a run!

Directions:
Take I-70 to Exit 121/Hwy 40 (3 miles west of Columbia, MO.)  Midway Expo Sandbar is behind Midway Travel Plaza.

What you get:
Xtreme cross-country race, post-race party at finish, XCX t-shirt(the most bad ass shirt ever!), the most fun you will ever have on a run!

Costumes: Costumes are strongly encouraged. be goofy, have fun! Top ten prizes for costumes!

Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 in each age group, Male, Female, Costume, Most Muddy, Most Bloody!

Caution:
Chances are you will get wet and muddy! It is recommended that you
bring a change of clothes and a towel for post race recovery!

About the XCX:

The XCX cross country race is a 4 mile + off road running adventure, taking place through the forest surrounding the Midway Expo Sandbar. Participants run off-road trails, climb fences, hay bales, and steep painful hills, conquer obstacle courses, and splash through creeks aplenty!

Participants are also encouraged to dress in costume, run as fast/slow as their abilities serve them, and get as muddy as possible. The ultimate goal is to have a great time!

At the end of the race there is a celebration including food, drinks, music, and a bonfire for everyone involved. Anyone who survives the XCX adventure deserves some fun!
