Top secret gear item for the Mayor's Cup II:
A secretly borrowed "mascot" for your photo hunt.
Ever see the movie "Amelie"? No? Well, maybe you have seen the "Travelocity" commercials? No?
Dangit! Anyway, both of these have a secretly borrowed traveling gnome in them. A guest mascot that is present in photos in many different locations.
Now, we aren't saying that you need to bring a "gnome," but a small borrowed item from a friend or a family member for your Mayor's Cup location photos is definitly a must.
Here are some examples:
*A gnome (obviously)
*A stuffed animal
*An ugly doll (you may loose this to the one eyed troll in the tunnel though)
*A bowling bowl (don't be a fool)
*Gi Joe or Barbie (or whatever kids play with these days)
Really anything that is somewhat funny and not that difficult to carry around with you all day! Consider this Mascot your third team member!

Don't worry... there is no home football game this weekend!

some fun,
and eat some pizza!

Each team will receive one free pint glass

Bike and helmet (one for each member of the team!)
Bike lock
Water bottle or camel pack
Backpack for gear
Digital camera (must photograph sections of the event)

If you are looking for an ultra-intense, painful race, this isn't it! If
you are looking for a fun, social event that is both physically and mentally
challenging, then...ROCK ON!
